Hard Friction – Site Review
Hard Friction is the brainchild of two of gay porn’s hottest men: Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond. In the fall of 2009, these two sexy men, who are also real-life lovers, starred in a Raging Stallion video called Hard Friction. A few months later, they launched their gay porn site together. One of the things that I’ve always liked about Steve Cruz is that he hasn’t compromised who he is in order to sell movies. Steve Cruz loves natural men, men who don’t shave their bodies or dye the grey out of their hair. And in a business that tends to favour the smooth male, Cruz could have changed his image to suit the business, but he didn’t. And likewise, on Hard Friction you can expect lots of hairy muscle men and older men like Bruno Bond who are starting to grey a little.
The men who join Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond on their website are hard-muscled men ranging from 25 to 35 years old. Many of them are hairy, and a lot of them are wearing beards or other types of face scruff. Hard Friction has just opened it’s doors within the last couple of months, so it doesn’t have a huge inventory of videos. However, it is updating weekly with new photos, videos, and live webcam shows. Members also get access to this site’s huge archive of past webcam shows — over 275 of them! Another thing I liked about Hard Friction is they post screen tests, so we get to see the perfomance that brought a few of these guys into Hard Friction.

With a small number of videos and DRM requirements, Hard Friction does have some hurdles to overcome. They do offer a huge archive of past, live webcam shows (275 of them), and nearly 30 video plugins, so it’s not like you’ll be sitting around twiddling your thumbs. There’s plenty to see and the site is updating weekly. If you’re still feeling apprehensive, but want to have a look inside, you can check the site out with their $5, one-day trial. You really can’t lose on a $5-membership. The men are definitely worth the price of admission.

This site will only get better with time. Including the live webcam show archive and the video plugins, there’s quite a bit to see on this site. It’s worth the $24.95 entry fee, but you probably won’t want to hang around for months. I’d check the site out for a month, and then, come back six months down the road when it beefs up some more.
